Thunderhell is a thrashmetalband from San Diego, Venezuela. THUNDERHELL has been created in 2006 by Joel Barranco and Juan Betancourt, who before had been part of METALDEMENCIA, a metal scene band from Valencia. After his dissolution Joel and Juan jointed ideas and started a different project with more THRASH and SPEED METAL tendencies, being influenced by bands like PANTERA, Motorhead, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Black Sabbath and more, including blues, country and more styles and classic bands like ZZ Top and Jimi Hendrix
With Joel (drums) and Juan (Guitars), Carlos Sardinha (bass) and Daniel Loaiza (Vocals) jointed the band and have a first gig with the name of THUNDERHEAD in the Engineering Faculty Bands Fest '09 (UC - University of Carabobo). Then with only one show Carlos leaves the band and Daniel takes the Vocals and Bas* Player place.
Already, under the context of Powertrio and named THUNDERHEAD make some gigs in some bands festivals in Carabobo state
After this shows, band named change to THUNDERHELL, and with this new name, recorded the first demo entitled Southern W house in 2008; besides keep writing new songs and making gigs inside and outside the country, having shows in music festivals like AYALA CONSPIRACY FEST I y II (Valencia), THRASHING THRILLI 2009 (Valencia), METAL WAR FEST II (San Cristbal), ISLA DEL ROCK 2009 (Margarita), FIRE HELL FEST I (Ccuta); sharing stage with bands like HEDOR, LORD THANATOS, NAZGUL, LUCIFERIAN, RAVEN HEART, NEPENTE from Colombia; ARKANGEL, SCILOCIBINA, ETICA ETILICA, PSICOSIS, KRAPTOR, ADEIDAD, INFINITY DREAMS, OCULTO SUR, LAM, UP THE TERROR, OLD SKULL, CRYSTAL REQUIEM, VITRIOL, GULA, ABISMALES, DIFUNTOS, COLERA MORBUS, PREDATOR, ASTRARIA, ABORIGEN and others national and international bands.
THUNDERHELL be supported by great partners and helplers in the national and international metal scene, including Organizers, Producers, Web Masters, Musicians, Family, Friends and THUNDER FANS, taking the band to a higher level
Actually THUNDERHELL has plans on recording the first album, keeping writing new songs and having gigs inside and outside Venezuela
